Woron Software Woron Software is an interactive 3D modeling software designed to help create amazing 3D designs in a user friendly way. What makes the software so unique is that it uses simple jigs and fixtures, which can be quickly adjusted or replaced, to construct models. This allows for greater creativity in the design process because users are not limited by rigid guidelines. Fixtures are simply geometric objects that work like "anchors" in virtual space; they're defined by their position and size but usually don't move once they're placed into the design space. Fixtures can be used to fix components which are assembled together to make a complex jig; the jig then bends material and imparts shape and form on it, and is basically an "assembly line" of functional components. Once the design is complete, the structure of each component can be easily modified or replaced. Woron Scan 1.09 supports user-defined materials with different properties, which is what makes it possible for users to create organic designs with Woron. The software was created by Italy-based designer Giovanni Pilu in 2011 - he wanted to find a way to allow designers and engineers to have more freedom in their work. Woron’s goal is to make the design process more intuitive for users; there are no restrictions to what can be designed, and it can be easily adapted to other industries (like jewelry, architecture, etc.).
